Painter

Universal Realty Group is a leading property management company in Halifax, known for quality apartments in great locations, top-tier commercial leasing services and the landmark Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites.

We are currently seeking experienced Painters to join our Residential team at our Paramount Apartments location at 1551 South Park Street in Halifax.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Surface preparation; including wall repairs, ceiling repairs and priming.
• Material Selection: providing lists of materials required to carry out the work to the manager.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality inspections during and after finishing to verify that work meets established standards.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety procedures and best practices, ensuring a secure work environment for both you and other team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior and exterior painting, with an eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Must possess excellent painting skills, knowledge of various paint types.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
