Universal Realty Group is a Halifax-based property management company known for setting the standards of excellence in residential accommodation and commercial leasing. We are currently seeking a qualified Security Guard.

Responsibilities will include:

• Security patrols of a complex comprising shopping malls, office buildings, residential buildings and hotel
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Provide response to fire alarms, intrusion alarms, medical emergencies and criminal activities
• Enforcement of Criminal Code, Provincial Statutes, and company policies
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Qualifications include:

• Security diploma is an asset
• Provide outstanding Customer Service skills
• Knowledge of security practices
• Strong communication and organizational skills
